Even with advertisements, popups, and brand partnerships, most recipe creators don't even earn a minimum wage for the number of hours they spend on their blog — much less a living wage. Recip.ly provides an additional, low maintenance revenue stream to help bloggers earn more from content they have already created. Our platform is designed to outperform even premium ad networks like Mediavine by at least 10x in terms of cost per recipe view.

Meet the founder

Annie Singer founded Recip.ly in 2021 after leaving their full-time job as Director of Marketing for BestReviews.com.

During the pandemic, Annie found themself cooking more and more since they had more time on their hands. But they always found it immensely frustrating and inefficient to cook from food blogs. They started buying cookbooks, and even hand-writing recipes they found online so that it was easier to quickly refer to the ingredients list when their fingers were covered in sticky stuff.

Annie has worked extensively with both recipe bloggers and food brands as an SEO consultant, copywriter, and strategist. Their deep knowledge of user experience, design, and SEO, combined with direct insight into the work and resources that bloggers commit to making their content successful in Google search makes them uniquely qualified to tackle this problem in a way that is fair to creators and consumers alike.
