Bio:
My travels have defined my cooking, and the more I traveled, the more I became passionate about different flavors. I am a trained chef and recipe curator.
I have lived in different areas of the United States, from the East Coast to the Mid-West, Northern California, and as far away as Dubai. I now reside in Southern California. My cooking style evolved from being immersed in the local cultures and experiencing the regional flavors. However, cooking is much more than this; it's also sensory.
Most people don't have the luxury of traveling and experiencing other cultures and cuisines, and what better way to do this through recipes and a food experience at home.
It's also a great reason to stock up your pantry with some new international spices. It gives us all an excuse to buy new Italian pasta bowls, beautiful wine glasses, Japanese soy sauce dipping bowls with sake glasses, and fancy wood chopsticks. It's finding all the fun things that make the experience exceptional and authentic in your own home.
FoodStyeUncorked has approachable developed recipes for the cook that are easy to understand and make. In addition, you will find seasonable recipes that leave you feeling nourished, fulfilled, satisfied, and well-traveled. Occasionally I push visual and taste boundaries just for fun.
Food Style Uncorked is all about 5:2. Five days of simple, easy to prepare, clean, flavorful meals during the week and two days of indulgent foods in moderation. I create balanced layers of flavor using pantry staples, spices, and fresh herbs.
